PLASTICHEAL hosts its first annual meeting in Barcelona

Our NanoInflammation and NanoCell Biology teams have been contributing to the PLASTICHEAL project since its launch early last year. The project uses innovative tools to study the impact and mode of action of micro and nano-plastics on human health. After one year of virtual work, it was wonderful to finally bring together experts and stakeholders from all of the partner organisations to share progress and lay the groundwork for the months ahead. Our NanoInflammation and NanoCell Biology team leaders, Cyrill and Sandra, were able to attend in person, while two of our postdoctoral research associates, Thomas and Rahaf, joined remotely.
