Last week the Nanomedicine Lab went on a retreat. Dr Tom Kisby, the NanoTherapeutics Lab Leader and long-term collaborator, joined us as our special guest. The group reflected on the past 5 years since the Nanomedicine Lab at ICN2 was created, and the results achieved during that period, their value and importance within the research field, industry and society at large. We closed the first day with a tasty cocktail workshop!

The next day, together as a group, we looked at the future and the plans for the coming years, the different challenges and opportunities and possible collaborations.

We concluded the session with lunch at the beachfront and a scientific brainstorming where all members presented their crazy scientific ideas.
