Understating the Nanoparticle ‘Biomolecule Corona’

We investigate the spontaneous adsorption and self-assembly of blood molecules (proteins, lipids, nucleic etc.) onto the surface of lipid-, carbon- and metal-based nanoparticles ex vivo (upon incubation with biofluids) and in vivo (upon intravenous administration) in animal models and human patients.
