The team welcomed Prof. Shigeo Maruyama, as our esteemed guest. Prof. Maruyama is Distinguished Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Tokyo, Japan, and Visiting Professor at Zhejiang University, China, one of the leading researchers in carbon nanotube materials research worldwide. He generously provided valuable insights on his research field with a talk to the whole ICN2 on: “Synthesis and applications of 1D vdW heterostructures based on single-walled carbon nanotubes” and later visited the Nanomedicine Lab taking the time to learn about our biomedical research projects and expertise.
