BIO

Zoe completed her MA in Applied Linguistics at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2017, after which she received a Vice-Chancellor Scholarship to undertake a PhD in Linguistics. Her thesis investigates the language, discourse and social practices that contribute to the stigmatisation of menstruation. She has an interest in health communication and has worked in various roles alongside her postgraduate studies that have contributed to her gaining experience in project administration and management, event planning, copywriting and social media marketing.

Zoe joined the Nanomedicine Lab in January 2022 on a part-time basis while she completes her PhD. She assists with both administrative processes and communications.
