Ms. Nomin Tserendulam

MSc Student

BIO

Nomin obtained a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Nanoscience and engineering from the National University of Mongolia. During her studies in Mongolia, she worked on multiple research projects developing metal and metal oxide nanoparticles, graphene oxide nanocomposites and nanobiomaterials. She completed her bachelor’s thesis on fabricating biosensing platform using self-assembled monolayer of gold nanoparticles.

She is currently pursuing an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree in Biopharmaceutical Materials Science (BIOPHAM) with Erasmus Mundus scholarship. As part of this program, she has studied in University of Pisa (Italy), Polytechnic University of Catalunya (Spain), and University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland). During her master’s studies, she completed an internship at the Institute of Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia (IQAC-CSIC), where she worked on evaluating the safety and efficacy of drug-loaded polymeric nanoparticles for glioblastoma treatment. In February 2025, she joined the Nanomedicine Lab as a visiting master’s student to conduct her master’s thesis on “Microfluidics for Engineering of Lipid-based nanoparticles” in collaboration with Helix Biotech, Inc.
