Graphene@Manchester helps put science on show at Community Festival
On Saturday, Royce Hub Building opened its doors to local residents for the University of Manchester Community Festival. The free outreach event put science on show with researchers delivering engaging activities and hands-on experiments to the local community. The annual festival’s goal is to inspire young people with the hope that they will become the future generation of scientists and engineers.
Graphene@Manchester was among the vibrant assortment of stands and was manned by some of our very own lab members, Cyrill, Angeliki and Emmanuel, who encouraged local residents to join in with a make-your-own graphene workshop.
