Glòria and Kostas represent the Nanomedicine Lab at the CRS in Italy

The 12th Controlled Release Society (CRS) Annual Meeting and Expo “Integrating Delivery Science across disciplines”, was a huge opportunity for the Nanomedicine Lab to be involved in communicating its cutting-edge research. This event also allowed us to follow the latest trends and topics in drug delivery, and network with both old and new colleagues.
Glòria took on the onerous task of presenting three different posters on the use of GO used in therapeutics, while Kostas was invited to give a talk on: “Challenges and Pitfalls in Clinical Translation of 2D Graphene Materials as Nanoplatforms for Canonical and Non-Canonical Therapeutics”.
