The outreach event embedded scientific understanding on various topics, including plastic pollution, and games for the young  minds. The overarching objective of the “Plastic Conundrum” stand was to train the public and next generations in sorting out plastic waste based on their recyclability, and to provide information on how researchers isolate microplastics from the environment and biological samples. The event took place in the central library on Friday the 28^th and Saturday the 29^th of October and attracted above 600 children and grown-ups.
